this post is more toward gringo mutuals, be aware that yes, this country is welcoming to everybody however... the racism still exists, it's more subtle but it does exist, i even recommend black ppl to travel to bahia because of the afrobrazilian culture being rich over there.

despite POC/mixed population being more prominent than those who are perceived as white, racism still exists, colorism is real.

btw do not ever assume there isn't racism in Brazil, because damn. despite 50/50 population. it just exists. the historical influence is something that won't make it fade away too soon.
