Precisely! With balance as the goal, Iโ€™m constantly chasing the unachievable. I liken this to harmony in music where the simultaneous combination of musical notes creates a rich, unified sound. Sometimes work is the lead and other times life is the lead. When done well, both are beautiful.

As a millennial, I reject the concept of work-life balance. Balance is a state where opposing forces are equal and thatโ€™s often not possible in the work-life relationship. I strive for work-life harmony where the different parts of my life, though unequal in size, combine to create a unified whole.
