We're fighting to stop the development of a heat-generating, water-guzzling, energy-draining hyperscale data center in the Sonoran Desert! We're a leaderful coalition of people based in Southern Arizona. Join us! https://tinyurl.com/nddcjoinus
When we oppose hyperscale data centers in our communities, we protect the water, we protect the land, we keep our bills from going up more than they already do, AND we stop the cruelty industry from expanding its infrastructure. #ICEout #NoTechForICE 📷: @bluerobedcrone.bsky.social

Two ACC Commissioners appear on a podcast and say APS sued them and AZ Supreme Court ruled for APS. Turns out the case never got to AZ Supreme Court because the ACC settled with APS and left consumer advocates out of negotiations for the deal. 🤡🤡🤡 youtu.be/UohwNYb1oIQ

To serve Beale Infrastructure's Project Blue data center, TEP will be leaving some of their utility customers. Which ones, and will those companies' customers see their rates go up? From the 12/3 Arizona Corporation Commission meeting where they passed the agreement between TEP and Beale.

Hey Marana, the developer is really proud that their proposed hyperscale data centers will use less water on site than what those 600 acres are currently used for, which is [checks notes]... agriculture. youtube.com/shorts/EWBsC...
Vivek would like to confirm that a farm should in fact consume more water than a data center.

This is WILD.

Power goes out in San Francisco and the robot cars, needing the lights to "self" drive, all stop at once, blocking streets and emergency vehicles - which are needed more than ever in a black out!

We knew AI causes power outages. Turns out it also makes them worse by being stupid.
Waymo has halted service in San Francisco after numerous videos & images showed its autonomous cars snarling traffic during the blackout.

With traffic lights down, Waymos across the city stopped dead in their tracks at intersections.
