More coverage of yesterday’s protest outside Tucson Electric Power’s office. TEP has been pushing for the data centers project and now claims they are obligated to provide service. We want a public power utility. Follow @tucson-dsa.bsky.social for more information on the Public Power campaign.
Project Blue’s new plans could involve TEP if they get approval; protestors oppose it
Protestors gathered downtown to oppose TEP’s plan to provide power for the proposed Project Blue data center, arguing it would harm the environment and burden the community.
