The funniest part of my recent surgery is still when they lowered the oxygen mask on my face but it wasn’t coming thru so I couldnt breath properly and I immediately started to panic, to which the anesthesiologist replied simply “ok well it’s time to go to sleep” and I instantly blacked out

i mostly use he/him irl bc its easier and i use he/they anyway so its not like im being misgendered or anything but. idk. ive always felt like i had to defer to being male to get ppl to take my transition seriously and now that im 2 years on T post op i feel like i can actually be nonbinary now

Anyway thanks for everyone’s patience the last couple week wrt my health. I have surgery scheduled tomorrow at 10. Recovery is going to be a pain in the ass for a few days but itll be better than the last 5 weeks! Hopefully!!!

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

Kidney stone update: it’s not coming out. Earliest I could schedule for surgery is next Friday because the dr is only in mondays and fridays and this monday is a holiday. Because the monday after my birthday is always a holiday. And today is my birthday.

I took an oxycodone, 3 ibuprofen, and a nap and have made my way to the artist alley 🫡
(I’m actually feeling alright now but I’m not gonna push it if I start to feel sick again lol)

Well! Magfest was fun while it lasted. Kidney stone conveniently flared up again and I dont know if I’ll be able to work the table anymore.
