If Republicans think they’re going to create anger towards Dems by holding back SNAP and screwing up air travel- they’re wrong! Just flew in for a funeral and conservative relatives seemed to understand it’s the GOP reps doing this.

WHY isn’t Congress in session??? Where are the Epstein files??? Why are there elected representatives that haven’t been sworn in yet??? Why is there no budget or CR after weeks of standstill???

JFC! There’s funds to terrorize citizens in the streets but not feed people or maintain infrastructure? WTF? The government- led by a Republican, with a GOP majority in both the Senate and the House- needs to pass a budget or CR immediately! Speaker Johnson is a do nothing failure.

As far as Greedy Corporate Industries go, it’s looking like Health Insurance companies were the ‘smartest guys in the room’. They had a great run of seeing everyone being required to have insurance and getting to receive all those gov subsidies, all the while denying as many claims as possible. 1/2

Wow! "One Battle After Another" is so good! Best work yet of Paul Thomas Anderson. Also some amazing acting, including one of the Leonardo Dicaprio's best roles in years.

It’s always hard to tell whether cruelty is the means or the object w/ the GOP but could they be thinking: if they roll back healthcare subsidies then people w/ Obamacare will be unable to afford coverage so will beg to end the requirement of having insurance?

Yes- this is something that I can agree with Trump - the President is to blame for shutdowns, especially since he has the GOP senators and representatives under his thumb.

Hulu subscription cancelled! We actually planned to before the whole ABC/Disney/Hulu knee bending fiasco. Since pushing Hulu to the Disney+ platform it continually logged us out then required a password reset, delaying any viewing by a half hour and at least a dozen swear words. No thanks!
