Unsolicited artist advice of the day: if you're a freelancer with no back up devices or storage, remember to pick a few things up in the black Friday sales. Even a pen drive to back up your projects so if you have a catastrophic hard drive failure you wont lose everything..learn from my mistakes. 😅

But it's also the destroying of trust in anything that you’re not seeing with your own eyes right in front of you.
Wonder now turned to the narrowing of eyes in immediate scepticism seeing something magical.
Questioning the realness of everything from a stilted written apology to profound works by students in school.
It feels like a slow poison to creativity and humanity at large.

Many of us have been conditioned into feeling compelled to try to "fix" mistakes by explaining what happened, moreso than what to do next.
I've had many experiences feeling like there's no reconciling a mistake.

A sentence I wish more of my autistic friends knew how to say when they've inadvertently hurt someone is "how do I make this right?"
Like the autistic urge to Explain Everything often reads as doubling down and usually is just gasoline on a fire. Questions are often a more useful tool than answers!
