The late 90s #MarvelComics Alpha Flight series, the 2nd series for #Canada 's baffling ONLY real superhero team in their universe, is probably the reason I am so interested in this phenomenon. The last issue I could get as a kid was the one where they first arrive in the #Microverse sans #Micronauts

This one is really interesting, because the lore of the Microverse feels inherently tethered to the licensed characters

I constantly think about having all these wonderful artists I know do pin-ups and back up stories for my comics, but my budget is currently not big enough and I have to clear out at least the first 5 issues fully on my own, or so I keep telling myself, to help actually establish my own style/vibe.

I felt, as I made this page, how much faster and more proficient at #illustration I have become since I started this journey of doing all the #art alongside the writing for my story.

A much better showing for my #reading #goal this past week with #manga absolutely taking the edge in quality of art and story over #comicbooks , even though they're #imageomics which tends to provide reliable story quality (and it was good just not AS good.)

I haven't been on Tumblr in an infinity of yeras. But every time an absolute DOGSHIT take about pro wrestling comes across my feed, it invariably has its roots on Tumblr.

I can agree with this in principal, having ADHD and making comics, but there are also downsides to the combo. Like one page can take a long fucking time because I either lose interest in that specific page when I hit too many errors or too detailed a section etc.
