Most buildings in the shopping district have an upstairs that you can't see or go into. Since I wanted this to be what I imagine Inaba to actually be like, I had to think of what to put there. I figured it could be storage for the store, but I made a living space for the shopkeeper instead.

Through the window you can see lots of white shelves with books. I added the cash register I made as well because it seems like the shopkeeper would need one.

Yomenaido Bookstore - You never actually go inside the bookstore, but you do go there to buy books which you can read at home to improve your stats. One of the first assets I tried to make was this magazine rack. The game reused that asset a few times, so I did too lol

I used to play a lot then I took a break for a long time but now I'm back into it! Let me know if you ever want to hang out in the realm I have with some of the swag crew (survival peaceful)

I like how it looks at night! I will probably keep adding to it but I like it for now. I also added a bathroom in the back because Nanako had to go to the bathroom and the attendant said to go around back. You never see it in the game but it has to be there!

Moel Gas Station - While making this, I realized that I wanted to make some of my own blocks in Blockbench. For this part, I made the letters for MOEL, red/yellow trim, and cash register. You can't go in the gas station building in the game but I wanted to fill in as much of the town as I could.

It also looked like there were some houses behind the floodplains. Each house has at least a torch and a bed because I want to add villagers later when I am done. I'll probably make some of my own in blockbench.

I started with the floodplains and the area where you fish. I figured I would start in the middle of the town and move outwards so I don't run out of space.

I started with looking for a seed until I found one that worked well enough, but I still had to fill in a bunch of rivers and create my own Samegawa River. I picked this one because of the large plains in the middle, cherry blossoms on hills, snow to the NW and beach area a distance away.
