Security folklore of the morning is that no one should share URLs on Signal because it exposes IP addresses and people should use QR codes instead. Please don’t do this! QR codes are much less secure. If you’re concerned about link security, turn off link previews which you can do in Signal settings

i code daily, but i work as a product manager. i constantly see a lot of confusing noise about what product management is and isn't, but it doesn't have to be complicated.

here's an evolution of the guidance that i give my teams on the practice of product management: nulldivide.com/blog/product...

My Stop the Presses newsletter calls for a dramatic change of tactics by major media to produce "radically truthful” news that defeats the right-wing disinformation industry. Right now, the media are getting slam-dunked by fascist liars. Here’s a thread with my 10 main points. 🧵🧵🧵

The old ways don’t work. Time to declare war on the liars.

5. If a newsmaker has a history of lying, say so.
Some might consider it biased to write: “Trump, who has lied about unveiling a health care plan for nearly a decade, said Tuesday: ‘I have concepts of a plan.’” In fact, such a sentence would provide helpful context.

The FBI searched the home of a Washington Post reporter seeking classified state documents. Nothing she wrote about could be considered classified. They simply want to suppress dissent via intimidation. Don't let them. Here is what she wrote. Please share.

I am The Post’s ‘federal government whisperer.’ It’s been brutal.
One reporter’s effort to show how Trump was transforming government brought her 1,168 new sources — and nearly broke her.

WELL NOW, would you look at that? A massive, 24-YEAR-LONG study of MORE THAN 1.2 MILLION people in Denmark found NO LINK between aluminum in childhood vaccines and autism, asthma, OR chronic disorders.

Aluminum is an ADJUVANT.

It ENHANCES your immune response to a vaccine.

That’s it.

The past couple days have made it clear that arresting and prosecuting Johnathan Ross isn’t just the right thing to do, it is necessary to prevent future violence by ICE who have interpreted the situation as “we can do that to whoever we want”
A woman recording an ICE agent tells him "Shame on you."

The agent responds, "Have you all not learned from the past couple of days?"

"Learned what?" she asks

Then he knocks her phone out of her hand
