Been so long since I last posted anything anywhere that I have started feeling a blocking fear around posting stuff.

So here is a post to help me remember that I am not going to die if nobody likes my post...

Homeland Security and the White House have landed on Bluesky.

If you're a dumbass with no self control and absolutely must fight the T. Administration online, do it on X.

Otherwise, else your posts could endanger this place.

Don't engage. Block.

Gonna start forcing people to put in a deposit when they book a meeting with me. No-show without any heads up means you lose your deposit.

€450 sounds about right.

New favorite paradox:

Bonini's paradox, which states that "As a model of a complex system becomes more complete, it becomes less understandable."

Feels intuitively right and makes a case for simpler, less precis models.

Self actualization is great.

But what about shared actualization?

Joining with a group of people with similar values to go on a quest to grow together.

I think this will only become more important.

"Chubby had not demanded much out of life, and had got it."

This quote from Terry Pratchett's Men at Arms is a perfect example of why I can't get enough of his writing. 😍

It was great fun being interviewed by @jjude.com on some of my favorite topics: AI, coaching, philosophy and more.

And if you listen to it, I would love to hear any thoughts, questions and comments you have.

This is such an important shift, because "I am bad at X" implies there is something inherently wrong with me.

"I am unpracticed at X" implies that X is a skill that can be learned.
MIndset shift I'm mulling over when making art. Rather than saying "I'm bad at x" I'm going to try and shift how I communicate that to myself and others as "I'm unpracticed at x" because the latter contains in part the solution and it helps me feel less stuck.

I'm unpracticed at drawings heads.

That’s it."

One of the challenges to understanding climate change is that extremes don't necessarily change in the same way as averages.

In Western Europe, for example, the hottest day of the year is warming noticeably faster than the average summer day.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People starts with a very interesting ask:

"Read this book as if you were going to teach what you just read within 48 hours."

This resonates really well with me, because it calls for a deeper understanding.

Love this! 😍 Was Browsing Simon Sinek's website to learn more about what he actually sells and noticed a link in the footer titled "Curious?"

Clicked it and all it did was open this popup with a discount code. 🥰

Fantastic way to delight the user!

Random reflection that came to me just now:

I have the power to create whatever life I say I want!

I know I can, because I have done it twice already.

First time I focused on the money.

Second time I focused on the life style.

Now, the third time, I am focusing on combining the two.
