It's crazy to me that more people don't go to their local police community council meetings. I hear a lot of complaining about cops, I don't see a lot of people confronting them or talking to them as citizens with specific ideas about enforcement. They aren't going to change by you thinking at them

Medians for 🚶‍♀️= safer turns for 🚗

Fun fact: 70% of folks on 5th Ave are on foot, but they’re squeezing into less than half the space. That’s about to change. 🌳✨

With a $150M boost, 5th Ave’s getting wider sidewalks (+46%!), fewer car lanes, new trees, seating, better lighting, and all-around safer vibes. 🚶‍♀️🌆 #5thAveRevamp

2024 saw an average of 28,000 cyclists pedaling across the Brooklyn, Manhattan, Williamsburg, and Queensboro Bridges daily from April to October. That’s 8.4% more riders than last year—and a whopping 17x more than in 1980. Looks like NYC’s trading car horns for bike bells! 🚴‍♂️🔔 #BikeNYC
