Today was the last day of the semester. My 100 first year Intro Psych student have 111 minutes to get their assignments turned in. They are freaking out. That is my professional opinion.

I found out today that I have one degree of separation from Jeffrey Epstein. Apparently MIT’s Marvin Minsky hung out with Epstein. Source: Virginia Giuffre’s memoir. Minsky spoke at IU when I was there. I saw him insult the cognitive faculty (big deals, but not in the E. Files)

Book Review: The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell. It’s a prequel to Sex and the City. Carrie Bradshaw is in high school. It has all the elements: writing, fashion, and the tension between what do you owe your friends vs your romantic attachments. I liked high school and I liked this book.

Book Review: The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell. It’s a prequel to Sex and the City. Carrie Bradshaw is in high school. It has all the elements: writing, fashion, and the tension between what do you owe your friends vs your romantic attachments. I liked high school and I liked this book.

Book Review: The Book of Longings by Sue Monk Kidd. I was disappointed. When I was a kid: Junior High to High School I was a tad obsessed with books about Jesus, the early Church (yo! WN Christians, the early church put the social in socialism), and Rome. This was about Ana Jesus’ wife.
