Watching an interview about Dreadball All Stars from @manticgames.bsky.social and this sounds like a great fit for The Brothers Murph to cover as board gamers. Nick paints minis and really wanted to try Blood Bowl. This seems like a great launching point into this style of game.

I feel bad for not supporting local artists at an artist alley but it takes a lot for me to be in touch with most art pieces.

I love getting a snow forecast for 2-8 inches of snow. It's clearly a sign that the weather models are all over the place and have no consensus on behavior.
What I do know is to plan anything for that day would be foolhardy.

With these very low temps, I would like to wear a balaclava to keep my head covered and warm. Except it's the defacto garb for terrible US organizations and I don't want to look like those losers at all.

Had a weird theme for a board game. The idea is that players are grifters trying to make money by fooling others into believing in false things. But I also want people to feel bad doing it. You can win, but at what cost? It is just a game, or is it?

The amount of new video gaming in 2025 for me was so low that I can't even put together a top ten that I'd have confidence in right now. Have a handful of titles which could make the list but need more play.

If I've learned nothing over the holidays, it's that the prize prices on Price Is Right are either completely made up or inflation is way worse in California.
