not sure if I will ever finish these (mostly 'cause I really love how they look as they are rn) but here are two tarot cards (inspired by those from DA:I) with Nico and Niners!

Nico's tarot card has cigarette smoke in the back ('cause he smokes a lot), bits of fingerprints (as a nod to him being a detective), his halo is made our barbed wire, it's also dark on the inside to show that he is no saint in a typical sense (plus it's a reference to a song called Black Halo), the foreground piece of the card is a heart, a bleeding one with cuts all over - it shows that he aches and aches a lot, there are feathers poking out of the heart and it's a reference to a line "live a lie and let the vultures in" from Des Rocs - Maybe, I His scarf turns into a pool of splattered blood (a nod to the scarf being connected to his sister who is dead at the beginning of the story; plus the scarf itself is red so there's that) The symbols over his left eye are a reference to the recurring nightmare that keeps haunting him, anger and sense of justice Niners has an angular halo with a circuitry pattern, his tie transforms into a chain as a reference to him being a loyal dog, gunshot holes are a nod to him being selfless, the blue symbol on his forehead is a mix of clarity of mind and also a nod to him gaining the ability to think for himself (once he breaks the limits of his programming), the wavy lines that flow onto his shoulders represent android blood (it's sorta an hommage to an old art piece I've never finished, it's called Cybernetic Perfection and it's kinda like a more artistic/heavenly rendition of how Niners was made; it basically has the vibes of those old paintings where gods are born) His hands are more flowy in shape in order to establish a connection with the ocean/water (since that's what I associate him with) And last but definitely not least - the star-like shape! It's a reference to a "soul", to his humanity that he gains, and his hands are in this specific position 'cause he is shaping said "soul"

Was in call watching a show with friends and got a fun idea for a character from something said "Girl your body is a cage'

So far thoughts I have for her is a very Lich-y artificer and built this new mechanism to live far beyond her years and use trapped spirits for fuel :)
