"Honeybells" Allium siculum. Aka, Sicilian honey garlic

An ideal #perennial for a cottage/gravel garden. Strong onion/garlic scent especially when knocked/bruised. The bell flowers are a magnet to bees.

Garden Spider. They are a wonder to watch as they weave their incredible webs.
Spent many a day at Chorlton and Sale Water Parks when I lived a bit nearer. A good place for waterfowl generally and many other species. Particularly good for reed bunting I remember.
Saw a few in North Yorks a few weeks back. Have heard them very near to where I live in the High Peak but not actually seen any recently. Becoming more rare now I think.
