I really hope @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social rescinds the arbitrary e-bike speed limit as soon as he takes office, because I just took my first Citibike e-bike ride since they speed capped them and good lord, those things can’t get out of their own way anymore.

My kingdom for an airline that can combine United’s app with Delta’s service

50 minutes between trains from Newark Airport into the city. NJ Transit is 🚮🚮🚮

The fact that I got water in economy on my regional United flight today but couldn’t even get water pre-departure in First on my mainline United flight Friday on the same route despite being fully boarded 45 minutes before departure certainly tells a tale of two crews.

There are plenty of things to like about the tear down of I-81 through Syracuse, but my favorite might be that the relocation results in Exit 90 for I-90.

I really can’t be certain that things would be different if I had been flying my preferred airline (Delta) over the past three months, but cheating with United has resulted in a remarkable string of seven consecutive trips where at least one flight has been delayed.

It really is fascinating to see this messaging finally get put in front of the mainstream after countless Mamdani supporters were saying this throughout his campaign.

Go home Port Authority, you’re drunk. No one is going to the departures board looking for Palm Beach International (West Palm Beach), Frederick Douglass (Baltimore), or John Wayne Airport (Orange County/Santa Ana). What the hell are you doing?

If there’s any better evidence that Car Brain is a thing, it’s the morons who sit in the breakdown lane of a highway waiting to pick up people from the airport when the Cell Phone Lot exists and *is closer to the terminals.*

This story is nuts.

"ICE agents then surrounded the judge’s car and demanded everyone to exit the vehicle, threatening to smash in the windows if they did not comply."

Can we place a moratorium on disgraced former governors running for mayors of cities in an attempt to resuscitate their dying political careers?
Former New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey, who left office two decades ago in extramarital and national security disgrace, has made his opposition to a street safety measure a central part of his campaign to be mayor of Jersey City, which is heading towards an increasingly bitter runoff.
'Dirty and Embarrassing': Jim McGreevey Fights Street Safety in Jersey City Mayoral Run - Streetsblog New York City
All eyes are on the Garden State's second city, where a former governor plots a comeback with a divisive, anti-safety campaign.

Wonder how much fare revenue @mta.info is losing out on by not fixing this turnstile, the only one at my station entrance, for three days now. Probably a lot more than the cost to fix it.

Quite the Shakespearean yarn by @rosalindadams.bsky.social, featuring familial perfidy, an hours-long NYPD raid and a cannabis-driven entrepreneurial dream:

The ‘Godmother’ of Weed vs. Her Uncle, the DEA Agent
Cannabis officials courted a rising pot star to join New York’s legal market. Then a stunning police raid upended everything and shattered her family.

One of the good ones in many ways, but also good for recognizing that it's time to pass the torch. Given how our district voted in the mayoral election, her replacement will likely be one of the most progressive members of Congress.

This photo from the IBX Open House in Middle Village has me feeling rage over the fact that an entire generation of selfish older New Yorkers are going to try to block a transit project that will net huge benefits for their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren long after they're gone.

Every flight I'm taking for the rest of this year is a new line on the map, except for one: IAD-PVD, which I last flew in May 2003 on a then-new CRJ2 that was transferred to the short-lived Independence Air the following year.

Found a bookable 26 minute connection in the Delta system. Because I booked it without noticing the connection time.
November 20, 2025 at 5:01 AM
Went to book with Delta for the first time in nearly three months and keep getting the same error message over and over despite the itinerary still showing up in search results each time I start a new search. So over this airline’s fucking IT incompetence.

Going to keep beating this drum. For frequent subway riders, the elimination of the 30-day Metrocard is a backdoor 14% fare hike and it changes ridership behavior in a way that discourages discretionary trips. Both results are very, very bad!
