I fear for the future of Venezuela. Democracy does not exist without oversight and consequences. Trump violating their sovereignty to interfere with their governance, even if that governance came in the form of a dictatorship, is wrong.

Mind you, this university sits directly across from UH and the difference in funding is clearly visible. Whatever the discrepancy is in their budget, it does not nearly measure to the debt that this country owes historically black institutions. Maybe he should check those numbers first.

Btw, I don’t know if y’all realize this but the reason why Trump and his cabinet are behaving the way they are, is directly related to the immunity given to Trump via the Supreme Court. He knows one he leaves office, he won’t be charged with any crime… we all should be upset.

As a Texan, I think either way this next mid term election goes, we lose. I think Crockett should have run in another district and I think Talarico should have been the Dem pick. Their stances are fairly similar but Talarico is a white man, which gives him an advantage in Texas politics.

They could build a political dream team by assembling a group of likeminded individuals that will pursue similar legislative goals thus killing two birds with one stone. Netflix should not be allowed to purchase HBO Max, that is for sure a monopoly. Both of those streaming sites are charging well over $20 already. If you are already stressing about the prices of streaming now, imagine a situation where there is no competition to keep prices low.
