I usually buy online from www.dungeonland.co.uk, but today I visited their store in Blackpool and bought these lovely items. It was an Aladdin's cave of RPG goodies, I could have spent a fortune in there. Well worth a visit if you can. IMHO the best place in the UK to buy your RPGs.

What do you do when players are unable to make sessions.
1) Keep the characters in the game and let another player run them (but they can still die)?
2) Temporarily remove the PC from the game with a weak fictional reason (they overslept, are hungover, wandered off)?
3) Something else?

I can't recommend this highly enough, a great way to spend an hour or so. Entertaining and educational (and seems to be well researched). Biggest takeaway is we need to revive FRP as the acronym for Fantasy Role Playing.

I can't recommend this highly enough, a great way to spend an hour or so. Entertaining and educational (and seems to be well researched). Biggest takeaway is we need to revive FRP as the acronym for Fantasy Role Playing.

Playing this morning and my recurring villain has morphed into an annoying but fun aspect of my current Crucible, turns up does or says something then sods off before they get their comeuppance. Basically it is the Dungeon Master from the original cartoon.

Running the Crucible is a feat for any character, and for the player a chance to build a strange world where each run adds more to the world.

Playing this morning and my recurring villain has morphed into an annoying but fun aspect of my current Crucible, turns up does or says something then sods off before they get their comeuppance. Basically it is the Dungeon Master from the original cartoon.

It's been a great week for RPG deliveries. First Tales of Argosa, then Dolmenwood and now this Yoon-Suin. The first edition was great, and from what I can tell this is mostly the same but in a badass hardback book. I loved running Yoon-Suin and will revisit it at some point

On the plus side this arrived yesterday. I've resisted Tales of Argosa for a while and reading it now, I'm glad I've taken the plunge. Could this be my OSR go to? Planning to run Ave Nox with it.
