That's crazy, but also brilliant!

Smashing. I'd be looking to start prep over Christmas, fingers crossed it'll be ready then!

Very cool title. Grogten is mid-January, if it's ready by then I'd be happy to play test it.

Fantastic scenario and great rules. I played it, I've run and read it numerous times.

As for last game before Crimbo, I haven't planned that far ahead...

Ooh, I don't think I have. Would be interested to play test if I can slot it in (maybe one for Grogten!)

Tabs for indentation in coding, but for spaces between sentences?

I'm not a writer, but I learnt to touch type on an old type writer in college in 1982/83 (at the time thinking it was a useless skill, how wrong I was). It was always 2 spaces after a full stop and I only broke that habit 2 or 3 years ago, TBH it wasn't hard to change.

TBH I've not bought anything from a WH Smith since I worked in Liverpool city centre before covid and since working from home, but still I protest.

Sounds like you're saying skill rolls should only be made when something is at stake which I totally agree with. Keep the game moving and don't roll for trivial stuff.

Or GM panics when no one makes the roll & still lets you spot the thing. If you want PCs to see or find a thing to move the game forward don't put it behind a no-fun skill roll gateway, just let them have it if they look in the right place & move onto more interesting stuff (as you say with stakes).

I had no idea this was happening, it's the end of an era. And such a stupid name change, I wonder why they bothered.

If you are looking for an artist then do check out their portfolio, the art in Crucible is amazing.

Checkout the latest issue of #NMtDRzine, it has a great review of Crucible by @potatocubed.bsky.social. The fantastic art is by @fl3shdog.bsky.social, you can check out their portfolio at fl3shdog.com and I know they're open to work (because they're my daughter) if you have an upcoming project.

Thanks Matt. Cancelled games happens, I still had a great time in the replacement games.

We couldn't afford lemons when I was a kid...

If I still had it I'd give it a go.

I had Blizzard Pass back in the day, perhaps the first D&D module I owned. It was fun until the invisible ink pen dried up.

It's very good but way too long, we need some AI to summarise it 😅

More AI/ML related obfuscation...

It's been a great week for RPG deliveries. First Tales of Argosa, then Dolmenwood and now this Yoon-Suin. The first edition was great, and from what I can tell this is mostly the same but in a badass hardback book. I loved running Yoon-Suin and will revisit it at some point
