Hey if anyone from Campbell’s needs to get rid of a 3D meat printer no questions asked, I’ll drive down to Camden tomorrow and pick it up.

The floor of the Polestar 2’s driver's compartment is shaped like this in profile. This is fine when you’re using your right foot to drive. However, if you want to use adaptive cruise there is really nowhere for your right foot to go.

We need double dead pedals.

This car must be a magnet for my two *favorite* automotive content comments.

"This doesn't go 0-60 in under 7 seconds, it's literally a death trap."

"I and everyone I know is 6'8" I could never fit in this."

This piece is pretty funny, because sometime I forget how cheap parts for old American cars are now that I’ve been doing Euros.

$400 for a new exhaust system including a California cat.
$100 for shocks
$250 for a bumper because you want to save the original?

This is just humble bragging
My Jeep Comanche Has Quickly Become A Money-Pit - The Autopian
When I bought my 1992 Jeep Comanche 4×4 5spd, I thought I got a white-hot deal. After all, $6,500 for such a rare, beautifully-spec’d truck is on the lower end of the market, especially given that it ...

Just heard a radio commercial for an app saying the average American spends $5,000 a year on gas. There’s no WAY that’s true even in our car dependent country. Average American drives ~14k miles per year. Even if only getting 20 mpg, that’s 700 gallons of gas/year. Gas doesn’t cost >$7/gal.

It's kinda a blessing to have the exact local culture you spent your formative years steeped in captured on film.

All early Kevin Smith stuff captures it pretty well....

Clean Whiteblock V90 has appeared on marketplace. (Although the seller couldn’t be bothered to take a half decent picture)

Even looks like the timing belt has been done.

Now let’s talk about wages

Everyone enjoy this Subaru Outback Sport before rust returns it to the earth from which it once came.

How are we getting our car buys home these day without a trailer?

Plates from another car? That’s how we did it in the 90’s. Bill of sale and smooth talking?

Going to the DMV for temp plates?

I know this varies by state, but I’m still curious.

The electrician called, the township approved his permit application for a 50 amp charger.

Scheduled to be installed next Friday.

I’ve been trying to get this done since August. 🤞

Ok we now have a decent amount of $100k+ wagons to choose from.

Can I get a $50k wagon?

Mazda? This seems up your alley.

Toyota? Your printing infinity money with RAV4s what’s one more vanity project??

Polestar? Tell Volvo your the cool Swede in town now.
The Genesis G90 Magma Wingback concept might be the best-looking wagon of all time, and it’s almost certainly going into production according to president and chief creative officer Luc Donckerwolke. All the details here: www.jalopnik.com/2032620/gene...

Sometimes when your a teacher the schedule and lesson plans line up in a way that it kinda just makes sense to take a day off.

That was today.

Only I actually got sick last night.

Devastating.

In the last month the cost of my favorite fast charger has been raised twice from .35 a kWh to .48 a kWh.

Time call my electrician again.

I have to say this really does not seem like a particularly appealing package but normalizing EVs that get between 200-250 mile of range is probably a good thing.
The Jeep Recon is finally on the way as an electric off-roader. But despite being trail rated, in its initial form, it's not going to keep up with a Wrangler or Bronco on the really tough trails. Oh, and the range is only 230-250 miles for $65K! www.greencars.com/expert-insig...

My friend is a police dispatcher for a small public college.

Today they broke the case of a student who was just listing college equipment (like utility trailers and truck beds) on Facebook Marketplace then collecting money from the people who came to take the stuff from the college. 😂

Was telling my friend how I was going to try to take the solar company that stole my deposit to small claims court and he instantly was like “can I call them and pretend to be your lawyer?”

Yea why not?

A couple years ago there was one lifted truck obnoxiously bright wheel well lights in town.

I saw three of them on the way to get ice cream tonight.

Ummm thanks? 😒

Funny story, but this was when my son was little and he mostly ran around in flip flops, but by the time this car got wrecked, he had what he called "Mazda shoes" which were sneakers he would wear whenever we went somewhere because there was a solid chance we would have to walk.

I’ve been trying to buy this E320 for almost 4 months. (Long story I’ve been documenting on Mastodon)

What’s the longest you pursued a car then successfully purchased it?

Give me some hope or crush my dreams….
