“we’re nullifying the Voting Rights Act and fair housing and employment laws by non-enforcement” sounds a lot worse than “we’re ending DEI” but it’s the same thing
I think at this point “DEI” as a label is, like “woke,” just uselessly vague and mostly functions as a disingenuous package deal to let people obfuscate what, concretely, they’re opposing (or supporting, for that manner.
