I honestly don’t know who I want to win.

Detroit is so close to Toronto, and right on the border. Seattle is pretty close to Canada too, and also Nintendo still owns a small share. Honestly, if Toronto wasn’t in it, I would have backed Seattle.

I’ve worked so long in office jobs where executives tried so hard to get us to “think creatively” but the solution to that is to let adults play, too. It’s not just for kids!

I love it! My parents had very average blue collar/white collar jobs but had very poor childhoods, so they kinda had a redo through me, but with buying video games and lego and all this stuff they never had at all. And we kept it up after I became an adult so I’ve always had a + view of that.

There are ppl out there who monetize misery. They cannot fathom joy. The incentive is to keep ppl sad, demotivated, and reliant on them. It’s how power and control work.

So I try to remember this and recognize it.

I think the current state of the world isn’t helping. Things seem very bleak without end. Ppl in power don’t understand wealth inequality. They don’t understand normal ppl. They don’t understand youth.

And that is scary.
