To wrap it all up-Oscar, the incredible flying Ostrich by @thomashunt.bsky.social and Renato Baroni. Stunning decorations aside, Oscar himself moves and feels incredible while you're holding the controller, leading to his many stunts feeling very satisfying. Hilariously written, one to look out for

To the right, we had another important game proudly presenting Palestine and support groups-The Activists. While not on itch, the game does an incredible job to put the players in the shoes of people that are capable and want to make a change. Break into a weapons factory and disrupt the status quo

EXTRA special shout out to the two games our stall was sandwiched between, which were both centred themselves around Palestine, with Cagla focusing on the importance of memory and the deep roots of history, while Rebecca considers the necessity of direct action and internationalism.

A week or so ago, Behind the Hydra's Eyes was featured in the Games and Playful Design - Final Degree show from Goldsmiths!

I (Dragos-half of HotB) submitted BtHE, and have been working on the game as my final project. Was lovely seeing friends and colleagues play, an outstanding experience!

I think (totally unbiased lol) that our game is full of really great writing. The dialogue option that this is part of is probably one of my favourites though.

Living in Britain is pretty brutal, unless you protect yourself with a veil of ignorance. Let the veil fall: fight the hydra, find hope!

Steve Reed was my MP before I moved. He ignored a load of my emails, then replied to one, where I asked if he'll carry out his legal duties to hold Israel to account for genocide, spouting blatant Zionist propaganda and victim blaming the targets of the genocide.

Our full statement on our action against Sodexo Leeds

STATEMENT ON BASH BACK ACTION
AGAINST SODEXO (29/08/25)
On the week of the 28th of July, a trans man, Toni Asik was murdered in the Sodexo-run HMP Bronzefield. He had endured weeks of abuse because of his gender identity, constant misgendering and harassment by Sodexo staff. In the same week, an 18 year old trans man, also incarcerated in Bronzefield, attempted suicide by throwing himself off of a high railing. Sodexo and prison staff responded with aggressive 5 day lockdowns, further restrictions on prisoners' rights, and further violence against the prisoners themselves.
Every death in prison is a murder. Every incarcerated trans person is a
victim of the same harassment that killed Toni Asik and Taylor Atkinson, a prisoner held for 14 years under the UK's draconian IPP laws.
Through the violence inherent in discrimination, misgendering, abuse, denial of HRT, and segregation from other prisoners of the same gender, the prison system is designed todehumanize, erase and kill trans prisoners.
By taking action against Sodexo this week we stand in solidarity with
Prisoners for Palestine, CAGE, No More Exclusions and the Anticarceral
Solidarity network, in condemning the hideous abuse the prison system wreaks on its victims, and standing with all prisoners - our trans siblings, and our fellow activists, the Filton 24 (especially T. Hoxha who remains on hunger strike in HMP Peterborough as we write this) - in holding these
murderers to account.

OUR DEMANDS
We DEMAND that trans prisoners be transferred
to prisons of their gender.
We DEMAND investigations. into the abuses that led
to these deaths.
We DEMAND the immediate release of all political
prisoners held without trial or under IPP legislation.
Until then, we will continue to hold the bigots at
Sodexo and HMP to account.
SMASH SODEXO. SMASH THE STATE.
LIBERATION FOR ALL PRISONERS NOW.
STAND UP,
