As a kid, I went to church often, sometimes walking on my own if nobody else wanted to go, and it saddens me to know that while I learned about compassion, community and live others under the same Christian faith learned hate, vengeance & segregation & idolization of false idols.

Some Cuse fans talk about SU leaving the Big East. I like to concentrate on why the Big East didn’t have the balls to add Penn State decades ago and fight harder to keep teams like Miami & Virginia Tech when they had them to make BB schools happy.

Let’s do a social experiment. If you think people living in poverty or using assistance to get by “have it so easy” or are “lazy”, go live like them for a week and see how “easy” it is. Not everyone has the same life experiences & you don’t know why many struggle so help or shut up.

I believe love, kindness and compassion can win but I also believe when someone is stepping on your throat, the only answer is to fight back to save yourself, save your family, save your community and save your beliefs.

Don’t sleep on Cuse women’s sports this year. Not only are the women competing at a very entertaining level & likely a tournament team, I think Coach Thorpe is going to do great things for the Cuse women’s lacrosse program as well.

I have to say this: if you are a Syracuse sports fan, go to a soccer game. Most are free of charge so money isn’t an issue minus gas money to get there & concessions but fun times are had especially in the grass by the one goal.

Yeah as much as it pains me, recent news is too much and OrangeChuck on the other site is gone. I’ll miss some good friends who remain but I can’t keep justifying using that site any longer based on things I’m seeing now & the growing issues we have in this country. I hate it but I just can’t.
