lrt been thinking about star wars tv vs. big screen lately, and my conclusion is that i still prefer the big screen star wars, and would take a new trilogy over another show. andor is awesome, but rey, kylo, or an uncharted new trilogy mean so much more to me, as a cinematic experience as well

yes it does matter because "star wars" is unique among the big "franchises" in that it began as a movie and is not an adaptation (book, comics, etc). in a moment when movie theaters are threatened more than ever, the fact that *the* movie series has abandoned theaters and the cinematic form is bad.
