CEO Nancy Brown of the American Heart Assc , for example,made $4.38 Million in '24. Even executive staff at St Jude's make well over a million each. Cystic Fibrosis CIO Makes $2.1 Mil. It's hard to contribute knowing this.

I was just thinking about contributing to the "charity" Feeding America. Until I discovered that the salary for its CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, was approximately $949,866 in 2024, with her total compensation being $1,113,502. Apparently, feeding America isn't her top priority.

When Democrats propose a bill limiting the President’s power to deploy National Guard troops on US soil they should name the act after the guardsmen who tragically lost their lives today because of Trump’s capricious decision to deploy them to DC for no good reason.
