also idk if its just me but it feels like plenty of teams have no idea how to retake AT ALL, so this is what they resort to.

'dont fight, just get special' is only a thing i will agree with when its like a neo splash in the last 5 seconds of a tower game, there is little to no use in getting a special when you have no people fighting with it, ok nice the strikes and slider capped but all of us are still in spawn

One of the main things that helped me improve is learning to not always play to heavy special- or bombspam on lockout, but instead to fish for any opportunity to pull an off-angle.

The most powerful slayers in the game are unstoppable in team fights, hence why you have to split them away from the-

supports and anchors. Ofc not every map has equal flank routes, but sum like haggle is very easy to pull off-angles on.

In general I feel like a lot of lowlvls tunnel themselves into 'were on lockout, everyone get their specials ASAP', resulting in specials being used when they could be saved-
