Is there an upside to that? I would think that people become more literate when sussing out the chemical list and rejecting products that are too nasty chemical constituent wise? Like more people seem to be using vinegar for cleaning rather than the ammonia based?

Biked to a school board forum tonight; one way was 12 km instead of 7 km, because riding the Henday or Ellerslie means zero bike infrastructure. Safety, not distance, is what stops people from choosing active transportation.
