Even the BBC's bigot-friendly reporting demonstrates the transphobia.

"[Smith] expressed critical opinions about trans people" well there we go, they attacked a protected characteristic and an organisation chose to enforce their legally-binding anti-discrimination policy. End of story!

Erm, BBC, if all she did was "express critical opinions" why don't you report them? Is it because these were the opinions?

A football fan banned by her club from its grounds has raised more than £15,000 to take legal action.

Newcastle United (NUFC) supporter Linzi Smith was investigated by the Premier League after the club received a complaint about comments she made on social media.

Her lawyer claims the club's actions were a "huge overreach" in to matters unrelated to football.

Both NUFC and the Premier League declined to comment.

The 34-year-old's posts on X (formerly known as Twitter) expressed critical opinions about transgender people.

The decay is inevitable though. Commodifying the world and operating in the pursuit of profit over others is a process that has directly facilitated ecological catastrophe and abuse of human life across the globe. Short term fixes don't address the underlying problems that need systemic change!

Capitalism is a bad system that delays into something much worse, as we've seen repeatedly with economic crisis (can't make profit on a planet with finite resources forever) leading to a hard right lurch from capitalists
Now, esp. with a climate crisis unfolding, we need major systemic improvement.

Capitalism is not inherently fascism, but capitalism decays into fascism, because the pursuit of capital - or power - capitalism is contingent on leads to capitalists suspending liberties and increasing suppression of the masses to maintain their power, be it economic, political, cultural and more.

"blind consumerism" is a byproduct of capitalism though. Capitalists want money spent on their commodities so they can profit - "actual merits" are only useful when they aid in this.

A fascist state spending billions on surveillance tech is horrible, but benefits capital and power, so fulfils this.

Do you think the total extent of systems in opposition to capitalist logics is restricted to visions of states like the USSR?

Are said states to be taken in isolation, in ignorance of the world around them?

Would be unfair to say capitalism right now is becoming state repression and poverty?

Indeed! At this point serious questions have to be asked about the long-term health of the species if capitalism is allowed to ravage the planet any further.

Democratic, worker-owned systems have to be the way forward, across the globe.

The ugly truth about capitalism is that it has always required mass state violence to sustain itself, and now the far-right are in power billionaires feel confident in fascism's ability to grant them unabashed power - here, police-for-hire - to suppress the masses (sorry, "stop low-level crime")

Anyway there's enough there - including in your own screenshot - to work out what's been said, I guess. Marginalised people can criticise platforms they also use themselves!

Right wing reactionary is a career choice, and performative cruelty is its affect. Kindness is antithetical to their success in the industry, and the end result is the complete disdain for human life in all public-facing interactions (and Milo's knowledge that it probably got him some extra views!)

Urban planners that take the time to plan for everyone produce better transportation networks for everyone! This is a staggeringly easy conclusion to reach that is shrouded by years of austerity and ableist discourse polluting our ability to modernise our cityscapes.

Everyone should have healthcare anyway, and "illegal alien" is a repulsive, awful phrase that should not exist.

We are instead directed to engage with a vapid right wing hysteria, built from a terrible capitalist framework, which presents anything not of fascist logic as radical and dangerous.
