I don't like calling this a "technicality". The fact is that the cases were so weak that the only person Trump could find to prosecute them was so incompetent she couldn't even see how bad they were, much less do her job effectively.
"The government and Halligan here got off on a technicality.

And yet, in the rough and tumble world of criminal litigation, a win is a win."

@benjaminwittes.lawfaremedia.org discusses the dismissal of the Letitia James and James Comey indictments in The Situation.
The Situation: Not The Way I Wanted This to End
But I’ll take it.

These are the people who for years heard the worst propaganda imaginable about Obama and how evil he was. They knew it was BS, but they repeated it anyway because he wasn't on their team. Now when they hear this about Trump, they think the left is doing the same thing they did.

Then the only people who would run for office would be independently wealthy people who don't need the money and would be far less likely to implement programs that benefit the poor.
Hey so what if I said politicians shouldn't be able to make millions of dollars in office and that they should be subjected to earn the same minimum wage of their state?

He's in the corner, eating some small furry thing he found in the tunnels under the White House.

I'd give him some space for a bit.
Has anyone checked on Stephen Miller since the Mamdani meeting?

I don't know what Trump has on MTG but that's a video I really don't want to see.

If someone brings this to Thanksgiving dinner, it's okay to ask them to leave. This is the sort of thing that should only be consumed in private.

This is just f*cking sick. Blatant racism.
It sort of gives the game away when the spokesperson at DHS posts a job listing for the judges they’re hiring.

Everyone knows Pam Bondi is going to release redacted files due to "ongoing investigations".

But she's only been ordered to investigate Democrats.

That means she'll only be redacting stuff related to Democrats.

Stuff about Republicans has to come out unless she's actively investigating them.

I'm fine with mutual funds. Congress critters should have self-interest in improving the overall economy. But the individual stock trading just oozes corruption.
A House panel is holding a hearing on a proposed ban on Congressional stock trading.

This ban is long overdue. Why should members of Congress be able to use privileged information to make money on the stock market, while they’re supposed to be working for you?

When it's frozen it's no longer hot chocolate. It's just chocolate.
Beginning Monday, a Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate drink will be available exclusively at Starbucks cafés inside Target stores.

The chains are hoping the drink can drum up excitement from customers this holiday season.

Okay but I can get the story without having to listen to those two self-aggrandizing nimrods
This needs to get a LOT of traction.

Anyone else smell "Tencent buyout offer"?

Ubisoft's market cap is less than $1 billion right now. A 25% premium like the Saudis just payed for EA world be less than $1.2 billion. That's a steal for that IP and back catalog.
