It's February 14th, and I wanted to say I love you, so I make sure we communicate through end-to-end encryption.

I love you, so I think about what and who may be watching and listening when we chat.

I love you, so I delete or expire data-sensitive messages between us.

But I thought immigrants were "lazy freeloaders" who mooch off the system and don't pay taxes?

one of the greatest human triumphs of my lifetime is the relentless, unceasing, heroic effort by DECADES' worth of doctors and scientists to find a cure for a disease much of the world didn't take seriously for years because it predominantly affected a community they thought kinda deserved it
Just because good news is worth celebrating:

Venerable magazine Harper's Bazaar is running its short story contest again, with the winner receiving "the chance" of publication in the magazine. Just one catch: per the wording of the guidelines, _just by entering_ you transfer copyright ownership of your story to Harper's parent, Hearst. 1/3
