That's right, I was OK with either, having seen FNM lay waste to Slane the year before, supporting Axl & his extensive wardrobe.

Deadly! It's such a cool album.
p70.bsky.social
Oh my, Matt! Did you give it a stream first?
p70.bsky.social
🤣🤣🤣

I know. I was young, and part of the Aero Force.....I KNOW.

Still am.
p70.bsky.social
🤣🤣🤣

Where's OUR documentary???

Around 3 months after Neil & co., I had to lie to my manager that my girlfriend was pregnant, just so I could see Aerosmith. If I told him I wanted a day off for a concert.....LOL...FUCK OFF.

LUCKILY IT WAS A FALSE ALARM....🤣

Crazy. And the sun shone.

A few weeks later we were at Neil Young & Booker T., Van Morrison, Pearl Jam, & I think Elvis Costello made an appearance. 2 weeks later I got a real job & everything turned to shit...🤣

😃

Last saw Sugar in the summer of 93....

What a day.

My 2nd of 3 Faith No More gigs in just over a year.

Pardon the hijack.....OH MY.

The magnificent Moodies. Picking this one because it shows what a great bassist the late John Lodge was. The little run he does during the Legend Of A Mind crescendo is a thrill.

I love them, they could be twee, they could be prog, they could be pop, sometimes all 3 in the one song.

Exactly, Irene, exactly!!!

Absolutely, her story is so genuinely upsetting. Every time the demons were beaten, some other fucker came along and resurrected them.

The LIST did not contain one artist who used the harmonica as their main instrument. Absolute fruitcakery.

Here's the Master of the Blues Harp, Little Walter.

🤣

Another mad inclusion.

Janis was a singer of everything. Such a pity she had such a lumpy dull band behind her.

And no Willie Dixon. The record company man. The writer. The producer. The player. The everything. No sign. But here's Jimmy Page.

Paging(!) Alanis Morissette.

It really does, and missed most of the great guitarists. Only ONE of the 3 Kings...and the other 2 were better, imo. Still love BB, but Albert and Freddie were more exciting.
p70.bsky.social
Eighteen on THAT list were guitarists, this says a lot.

📏

Any, here's Mr. Spann, THE blues pianist(to me, anyway), much more to him than boogie-woogie.

Currently doing a #PetesBlues 10, just to remove the foulness.

EIGHTEEN guitar players.

EIGHTEEN.

The voters tiny dick energy is off the fucking charts.

If Graham Parker & The Rumour is your bag, you might dig this.
p70.bsky.social
Had this on cassette. An absolute blast, a bag of Skittles as music.

A big gun, one of my favourite records.

Garage soul from a Muscle Shoals session legend, writer of "Breakfast In Bed", this record originally released in 1986.

Raw vocals, incredible songwriting.

Eddie died in 1995, only 51.
Eddie Hinton- Letters From Mississippi.

🤣...that would be something!

@stevenc63.bsky.social Good evening sir.

This might be of interest, from a new book about Geddy Lee's baseball collection....
p70.bsky.social
I'm not going to argue, a most singular band. Still have my Creation cassette...❤️

Incredible, Jack.

"Jesus, where did the time go?
Holy God, where is the money now?
Father, what am I doing here?
Mother, where is the love?"

As breathtaking as it's heartbreaking.
