A game can't qualify as the best racing title for any platform unless that game contains some sweet ass jumps. Given that this excludes much of the C64's library, what does that leave it? Stunt Car Racer, Buggy Boy and Super Off Road leap to mind. What else? Any motorbike games where you catch air?

@logrus.uk Maybe to fully assess the recent Bubble Bobble C64 remaster, you don't compare it to the arcade original, you play the unadulterated C64 version first, then compare the remaster to that.

The real Bard's Tale trilogy. Play the 1st game, avoid the abysmal 2nd. Import your characters to the 3rd, a masterpiece. Then bring that party into Dragon Wars.
I consider BT4 a betrayal. The art direction, the tone, all wrong. Dwarves look like orcs and gnomes look like aliens. They went edgy. 🤮
