As I was unlocking my door after biking home from a nightshift this morning, the little girl next door popped out with her Mam. She usually says hello and waves when I see her, but this morning she just said 'Now then fella, long night at work?" She's 4 but sounds about 70. Brilliant.

If you want young people in work, offer good jobs, good wages and a career path with opportunities for advancement and learning. Cheap rents and decent accomodation would help as well. If you can't provide these don't complain about a lack of enthusiasm for shit jobs and shit life chances.
