I'm being so real right now, learn how to engage in media as art and not a reflection of your own real life morals. consume things that make you uncomfortable and understand why it makes you uncomfortable. Don't just base yours and others morals standings on the media you consume.

Restricting the expression of sexuality through fiction and art made by adults, for adults – including those you find personally disturbing or offputting – is conservative censorship, full stop. When that censorship disproportionately affects subgroups, that's also discrimination. For shame.

Drawing blood 'n' guts is a strange thing... For most of the process, I'm wondering "does this look good enough yet? real enough?" since I'm desensitized from the beginning; I still remember the artwork being a silly sketchy mess, so I want to be sure it's good enough to be taken seriously.
