Sharing an update because PRI shared on other socials - over $150,000 was donated this giving Tuesday bringing PRI even closer to their goal. Im very hopeful that PRI is likely to weather this crisis and create a path forward continuing its research and educational mission! Thanks all who helped!

Of all the wonderful depictions of Pleistocene life shown in Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age, few can compare with the beauty and realism of these psilopterines. I don't think I'm exaggerating to say this is the first and only time terror birds have been done properly in a documentary.

🐊 Largest survey of skeletal disease in living crocodilians! Nearly half showed osteopathologies, w/trauma most common. Skulls were hit hardest, and non-traumatic issues like inflammation and joint degeneration rose w/size & age.
