"This isn't the country I know!," says the citizen of the country that had someone in Congress recommending sterilization of "undesirables" only a century ago.
A brief U.S. history lesson: The Committee on Immigration & Naturalization of the House of Representatives once had an Expert Eugenics Agent. In 1911, there was a "Eugenics Section" of the American Breeders' Association. Make America what Again? 🤬

News from the edge of the visible universe:

JWST has confirmed this galaxy, MoM-z14, as the most distant one yet studied. We're seeing it as it was 13.5 billion years ago, 98% of the way back to the beginning of time.

(MoM stands for "miracle or mirage.") 🧪🔭

Ramos' parents, originally from Ecuador, were set for their asylum hearing in late Feb. DHS abruptly moved it up to THIS MORNING.

They are not in the U.S. illegally and have no criminal record. DHS is simply trying to end their asylum claims.

Child: My favorite one is a gold snake that can move. It has gold eyes, and it has a super-duper tail…

Reporter: Mr. Mamdani, the second question for you.

Mamdani: Yes. It’s also the golden snake."

Dear anthropologists - in case you're considering it, this is not a "teaching moment" about the difference between apes and monkeys. It's just about racism. Period.
