Last year the large company I was working for announced a big salvation army charity drive at about the same time the all-gender toilets became gendered and the pride flags got taken down and put behind glass in the corner with the printers.

It's that giving time of year again, so this is a reminder that no matter how they try to dress it up, the Salvation Army is not a charity.

Being made redundant this year was and continues to be stressful for me, but I also haven't bitten my nails since. I'd bitten them for more than 20 years and losing that job fixed it.
Everything changed once I got fired.
My stomach got much better than it has ever been. I got very motivated to draw my own art and properly build one of my stories. With plenty of projects for the next year.
And I'm so glad to be accompanied by my friends. I'm very lucky to have them +

So I *haven't* been to a mixed-reality game jam retreat in Finland hosted by @nifflas.bsky.social and @hollygramazio.bsky.social, it doesn't exist, but that dream was so darned real I thought I'd posted about it already.

Firework season is properly traumatising our poor girl again.
This year she started getting anxious a few weeks ago just because the evenings were getting darker.
Currently she is trying in vain to dig a hole under the WiFi router.
(We've tried many things, free reign to patrol helps the most.)
