@andrewhickey.500songs.com listening to anthology 4 Dont Let Me Down, and after this and seeing Let It Be feels like this is really an amazing song/performance. The harmonies are awesome, John's emotion (without quite so much anger), Billy's keyboard...wow.

Morning all,
Life is complex, isn't it? Thanksgiving. Should be controversial, but usually isn't. It's not Columbus Day but still built on lies. I do think it's possible to have a "Thanksgiving Day" that isn't build on lies--

Another baby has just died of whooping cough in Kentucky, thanks to RFK Jr. and his merry band of anti-vaxxers.

My feeling toward RFK Jr. and the Republican Senators who confirmed him is utter contempt.

Hero is just another word for expendable, and that’s how they see us: a low skill, overpaid, and overrated profession…until it’s them or their loved ones in the hospital, at which point they forget that the H on the building = hospital, not hotel, and that RN≠ refreshments & narcotics.
When the Blue Angels flew over my hospital I stayed my Black ass inside working. When yall were outside clapping 👏🏾 I ignored it, cause I knew yall didn't mean it and wouldn't take care of us. The first calendar year of Covid 19 the fee to renew my license increased 😑

The results of this latest Pew poll are one reason why, IMO, nobody should be asking public health professionals about “how to restore trust in public health”.

We’re not the ones who caused the distrust. Public health isn’t perfect but mining “distrust” was and is a Republican strategy.
How Do Americans View Childhood Vaccines, Vaccine Research and Policy?
