New study finds "people with negative beliefs about being alone experience a steep increase in loneliness after spending time alone in daily life, whereas those with positive beliefs feel less lonely after spending time alone."

In an email the authors summarised "A key finding from this work is that there is limited statistical evidence to support the presence or absence of most edges in published networks. Approximately 80% of the edges we analyzed lack robust statistical support from the data."

The idea that we can just slice up therapies into components because that's the way our brains would prefer to understand them is misguided. "Active ingredients", eh? These aren't headache remedies.

The article has a good purpose.

However none of these definitions echo our 2004 definition in the context of CBT, nor the sense in which we use PCT for universal ‘transdiagnostic’ principles.

We go ‘beyond’ any subgrouping & apply universal principles within each individual, dynamically.

London please help. I’m praying for a miracle, I’ve just got into the office and noticed my mums locket (in all these photos) that I wear every day has fallen off my neck on my walk in. My mum died when I was seven and her jewellery is most of what I have of her. I’m devastated
