I love living at home with my parents :thumbsup: it's the first cold day tm and we've found out the hard way that she has thrown away. Almost all of our winter gloves.

I try not to be a doomerism about the kids tm but God the shit I see everyday. On top of dismantling the education department, cutting funding and all of the other shit going on with schools. And don't worry some of the parents are just as bad thumbs up.

Still thinking about how much of disaster that coin project was DEAR GOD. I didn't think pushing a coin forward would be that difficult of concept but by god. Was it. Also didn't think drawing a pumpkin following a sequence would be that hard. But none of them can follow sequences.

Elem art teacher here; it's not just reading and writing its like all basic skills required in reasoning and critical thinking. Yesterday an older student didn't understand how to push a coin forward on paper using a marker. After I demonstrated it several times.
I'm pretty allergic to doomerism but the closest I get is when I see teachers talking about how bad it is out there. Does nobody really know how to read or write anymore
