It is incumbent on every American of conscience to rise against these actions. And Congress should move to impeach Trump and hold members of his cabinet accountable for these crimes.

Trump’s attack on Venezuela and abduction of its President are criminal acts of terror. They follow in the darkest traditions of American history: a violent, reckless flex of military power to gain control over foreign resources.

In the midst of an ongoing housing crisis, the need for resources to repair and maintain our aging homes remains high. All of us deserve a place to live that is warm, safe, and dry. I'll continue to fight for that future for every Pennsylvanian. penncapital-star.com/housing/penn...

We hosted two Friendsgivings to reach more than 300 households throughout Philly this year! I’m so grateful to the volunteers, partners, and neighbors who make it all possible. May we continue to work together for a bountiful world where everyone has the food, shelter, and community they need. 🧡

The CROWN Act is a step forward for equity, dignity, and acceptance! In the absence of a nationwide ban on hair discrimination, Pennsylvania is showing the way. I'm proud to support this legislation.

Victory! The PA CROWN Act will soon be law, ending hair discrimination in Pennsylvania.

A win for dignity, equity, and every person who has ever felt judged because of their hair. Our children will grow up in a better Commonwealth — and we can all wear our crowns with pride.

Philly is home to a long history of trans activism and the fight for freedom from oppression. From the Dewey’s sit-ins in 1965 to the creation of the “More Color More Pride” flag that honors our beloved Black and brown trans community, we keep fighting!

I'm proud to introduce legislation in partnership with Rep. Smith-Wade-El that would prevent the criminalization of homelessness. The Shelter First Act is a means to uphold the dignity and rights of all Pennsylvanians.
Lawmakers and housing advocates in Pennsylvania are calling on the commonwealth to take a more compassionate response to homelessness on the heels of a monumental ruling that allows local government to ban outdoor sleeping even if there are no shelter beds available.

We need real plans. We need a vision for lower utility bills, clean energy, and homes that are safe and healthy. We need reliable, accessible transit in every county to connect our neighbors with jobs, with education, and with each other. We need housing for all of us, without exception.

A basic requirement of government is to support its people in meeting their needs. As cost of living continues to rise throughout our country, our people deserve more investment from their government than what we delivered today—which is why I voted no.

And the withdrawal of our commonwealth from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative—the only meaningful tool Pennsylvania has had to lower energy costs, reduce deadly emissions, and chart a path toward a clean energy future.
