My current hobby is doing milestone photos with my daughter but using copies of Final Fantasy games because I'm a knob.

My daughter in a very fetching pair of dungarees with cacti on it lying next to Final Fantasy 7 and various other pieces of Final Fantasy 7 media.

Writing a book that claims to be a definitive history of a genre of videogames that is so indelibly tied to a specific region of the world but not writing about the ones that didn’t get localised to where you live is buck wild.

Just write a different book mate.
