I think the Comey case will be dismissed for selective prosecution. It's rare but my hunch, based on observing various selective prosecution motions while a reporter in federal court, is that this one would be likely to succeed.

Interviewed a man ICE was able to keep in jail--despite a judge's orders to release him--under a federal reg so dubious that in the last 6 weeks alone, federal district judges have ruled 11 times that ICE had violated the Constitution through it.

The worst single-day crime spree in modern Washington history, of course, took place on Jan. 6, 2021. Trump issued no order to the National Guard to intervene -- Mike Pence did -- and later pardoned the perpetrators.
