Adolescence writer/producer Jack Thorne is behind the first TV adaptation of William Golding’s beloved novel Images have been released from the first ever TV adaptation of the 1954 novel Lord of the Flies, the latest project from the writer/producer of the hit Netfix series Adolescence. Jack Thorne helped Adolescence’s teenage star Owen Cooper become the youngest male to win a primetime Emmy. Who benefits from the abolition of stamp duty land tax?

The first answer: people buying very expensive homes. Average saving for someone buying a £10m+ home is £1.7m. Average saving for someone buying a £250k-£500k home is £5k.

There's good evidence about how effective it can be to co-locate social welfare advice services in GP surgeries, so people can get advice on benefits, housing, social care etc. These things cause people real problems and it frees up so much GP time. 1 in 5 patients I've been told in one project.

Thoughtful you say? There is some insane content.

Cut universal benefits completely. Means-test the State Pension (which is a contributory benefit paid for with NIC's). Everyone claiming Universal Credit subject to conditionality/job search. A lottery for UC claimants who look for work the most.
