The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rejected an appeal from Ghislaine Maxwell, a former girlfriend and associate of Jeffrey Epstein. Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison term.

A jury in Manhattan federal court convicted Maxwell in 2021 on charges that included sex trafficking a teenage girl.

Dame Patricia Routledge has passed away at the age of 96. Her starring roles as Hyacinth Bucket in Keeping Up Appearances (1990) and Hetty Wainthropp Investigates (1996) endeared her to American Public TV viewers.

Routledge won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for Darling of the Day.
