This is a very limited list. There are so many great pedsky accounts.

I love the feeds feature to discover new people. Use a medsky.social handle and add a label to your bio. Pin fav feeds. Use labels to help others find you and change to medsky.social handle if you’re in a medical field. #Pedsky

It served its purpose for sure, but medsky has done a fabulous job bringing all medical fields together, so moving things there makes sense.

I trained before this was common and I recall thinking the procedure itself was so fast and the lidocaine injection hurts so it was a wash, but not I can’t imagine doing one without lidocaine.
pediatricskc.medsky.social
I use a lidocaine ring block with sucrose pacification because the lidocaine stings going in.

This is so very bad.

For more information about the Friday night massacre at CDC, I wrote up an analysis of who got terminated and what that means for public health.

Grateful to @saveamericamvmt.bsky.social for supporting and amplifying. We are in really terrible trouble.

I haven’t been keeping it up much and eventually will sunset it to decrease confusion with all the pedsky feeds. The Medsky account has made wonderful feeds for all sorts of healthcare areas, so follow their pediatric feed!

In my area Tylenol is not used for circumcision. They will need to identify which babies get Tylenol before just saying circumcision to make a valid point. Of course I don’t expect that level of precision from them.
pediatricskc.medsky.social
Babies don’t get Tylenol after circumcision in my area.

Rates of autism don’t correlate with rates of circumcision.

Rates of autism in girls are rising as we recognize them more. They aren’t circumcised.

This whole statement is wrong and part of an agenda. See it for what it is.

Thanks for the shout out! I feel stretched out with all the socials. My personal FB page (@ questforhealthkc) doesn’t have many followers but my office page that I admin (@ pediatricpartnersopks) does. I love the others you suggested too!

This is so disgusting. Most who follow him won’t even understand why this is so awful.

I’ve always suspected the infection would have higher risk, so this is interesting.

It would have been great if others followed the brave one out towards the end of this clip.
pediatricskc.medsky.social
Not really isn’t the best answer to that question. The answer is no. Just no.
pediatricskc.medsky.social
It’s as if they don’t know what they’re doing.
pediatricskc.medsky.social
They don’t know how to evaluate risks and benefits to health and don’t look at evidence.

Or

They want to kill us.

Those are the options.
pediatricskc.medsky.social
Only some, but we’re all paying for it.

Very professional presentation. So glad we have the best in charge of our country. (Sarcasm if you can’t tell.)

How did we get here?
