This is a very limited list. There are so many great pedsky accounts.

I love the feeds feature to discover new people. Use a medsky.social handle and add a label to your bio. Pin fav feeds. Use labels to help others find you and change to medsky.social handle if you’re in a medical field. #Pedsky
Getting infections to gain natural immunity is not necessary and comes with real risk. Vaccines train the immune system so if it's exposed to the virus it can fight it more quickly without as much risk.

Get vaccinated.

I feel so sorry for these babies.

Many kids (and adults!) with ADHD have low iron stores. The good news: identifying and treating low ferritin can sometimes improve focus, energy, mood, and sleep.

If your child struggles with one of these, check out my latest Substack!

I really did not enjoy Jay Bhattacharya & Matthew Memoli’s screed against pandemic & virology research for the flagship blog of a “free-market think tank." Instead of getting mad, I accepted @jeremyfaust.bsky.social's kind invitation to take a factual & scientific blowtorch to it.

That tracks. We’re dependent on a smart president, so the country’s falling to pieces without one.

Why is it recommended to check a hemoglobin and not ferritin as part of the Bright Futures guidelines? We know that kids can be iron deficient and still have a normal hemoglobin, so all those infant/toddlers we screen with just a hemoglobin could be falsely reassured they're normal. #PedsHematology

This is so devastating. Even if none of the bills are passed, the damage to our public health will be hard to overcome. People no longer trust authorities or experts because they’ve been told lies. It’s very hard to erase or ease the fear seeded with this misinformation.
An AP investigation found that more than 420 anti-science bills attacking longstanding public health protections – vaccines, milk safety and fluoride – have been introduced in statehouses this year, part of a campaign to enshrine a conspiracy theory-driven agenda into law. https://to.pbs.org/43dxCkD

The fact that we've decreased food allergy rates so much is fantastic, but I still see many parents delay introduction of these foods past 6 months due to the AAP recommendation to start foods after 6 months.

The damage being done to public health will be long term. For those who think things will improve as soon as there’s a new administration, consider the mistrust that is being established. Increasing numbers are now scared of vaccines. Fear is hard to address to make them comfortable with vaccines.

This is a good call.

If you follow their account to know what they’re saying, don’t engage with posts. That increases the reach of the misinformation, even if you’re countering what they’re saying. They don’t care about facts, so trying to state them won’t help.

Post facts on your own feed.
I'm aware that the Trump Administration's HHS Dept is now on Bluesky.

Due to concerns the account and other branches of HHS will share medical/vaccine misinformation using #Medsky feeds, I've made the decision to preemptively add the HHS account to a Misinformation Blocklist hosted by @medsky.info.

He is completely making things up.

We don’t check sperm counts in kids. For those high risk for lie counts I’ve seen a recommendation to return at 18 to check them.

Are infant & toddler girls starting puberty now? That’s his math: 6 yrs early.

If parents don’t have kids how are they parents?
RFK Jr: "Today the average teenager in this country has 50% of the sperm count, 50% of the testosterone of a 65 year old man. Our girls are hitting puberty 6 years early ... our parents aren't having children."
