You may be seeing a lot about the Default Mode Network (DMN) lately. Especially in ADHD conversations online.

I wrote a Substack post explaining what it is, why it matters, and how it applies to mental health.

Our work is harder thanks to you. This is not a sign of appreciation. It’s laughing in our faces as he knows the general feeling of pediatricians.
Spare us your lies.
You have made our jobs a thousand times harder by sowing distrust, causing epidemics and spreading disinformation.

Only high-risk individuals should get the rotavirus, COVID-19, influenza, meningococcal disease, hepatitis A, and hepatitis B vaccines according to our HHS.

I used to admit at least 5 kids a year due to dehydration from rotavirus. None since the vaccine started. All kids are at risk.

I've seen so many kids this season with flu - thankfully none among the deaths so far this year. Most of the sickest aren't vaccinated. Either they usually get vaccinated but didn't get around to it this year or they never get the flu vaccine because they thought flu was just a cold. It's not.

If you’ve ever contemplated what ADHD treatment option to use for yourself or your child, you may have come across genetic or pharmacogenetic testing. They're often marketed as a way to “take the guesswork out,” promising to choose the right ADHD medication more quickly.

Absolutely hideous to read. And Trump has Republicans convinced he’s pro-life.

There are many ways to learn about vaccines and their risks. It's harder and harder to tell if the source is reliable, especially since the HHS is headed by an anti-science and anti-vax lawyer.
