Having a smaller website makes it load faster — that's not surprising.

What is surprising is that a 14kB page can load much faster than a 15kB page — maybe 612ms faster — while the difference between a 15kB and a 16kB page is trivial.

I used to give a talk about the practical effect of satire, which (TLDR) there isn’t any.

I’d say: Presidents (Clinton, GHW Bush) didn’t only not mind being mocked, they both did bits with the comics who impersonated them.

Then I said; imagine how terrible it would be if a President did care.
