Doesn’t matter how many billions of theoretical student debt money we’ve got in a spreadsheet ratcheted up by interest. That money never existed. Forgiving that debt doesn’t actually cost us, and the loss of potential income assumes people could ever actually pay it back in a cost of living crisis.

I’ve been in this game long enough to know “personal success story” is a myth; my current strategy is just take it a day at a time and bend to rules to do stuff I enjoy. At the moment I make Claude do all the mundane stuff, so I can spend more time thinking 💀https://yle.fi/a/74-20209287
Tuesday's papers: Finland's melancholic class, healthcare time bomb, and a cancelled snowstorm
Sociologists suggest that so-called 'knowledge workers' in Finland — people whose job is to "think for a living" — are more likely to suffer from guilt-addled melancholy.

Disappointed to learn Bad Bunny wore Zara, effectively promoting the brand to millions. Although Zara has made admirable strides to address labor conditions, fast fashion can never be ethical because it depends on rapid production and cheap prices, which results in worker exploitation.

Really impressive video of a Shahed being shot down by an F-16 fighter jet from the 107th Aviation Wing of the Ukrainian Air Force.

The interception was carried out using the aircraft’s M61A1 Vulcan onboard rotary cannon.

Meanwhile, no meaningful precipitation in Finland in this year so far. Snow depths are exceptionally low in central Finland despite the cold January.
