If you can get an Enhanced ID New York driver's license (not RealID, the tier past that), those let you cross the land border to Canada & are issued by state, not feds.

I have, and I do! I've done the sign-in helper shift a few times and would say it's easier than checkout at the co-op. Chips recipients vs. coop shoppers: equally polite, less chatty, receiving one of several items rather than tens in a set of thousands, & have their ID more ready to present
Dana, have you ever worked a coop shift at CHiPS, and do you recommend it? It's something I vaguely keep meaning to try

When my daughter was 2 she woke up from a dream, sobbing. She eventually got out that she was "afraid of the elephant". Over the next few days she explained that the elephant:
- was sitting on a bench
- looked at her
- came towards her
- tried to hold her hand
- told her many things (?!?)
